Me and Meera is an independent shop at 5 Rue de l'Hôtel de Ville, in the historic centre of Nîmes. We bring back genuine leather and hand block printed cotton pieces made by small workshops in India, and we choose them one at a time.
No production runs, no catalogue: what you see in the shop exists in one or two pieces, and new arrivals come in regularly. Looking for a leather bag that lasts, a belt cut to your size, a gift unlike any other, or textiles for your home? Come in, we take our time.

Are your bags and belts genuine leather?
Yes. All our leather goods are genuine leather, handmade in India by small workshops. Every piece is unique: tones and finishes vary from bag to bag.
What is Block Print cotton?
Block Print is a craft technique: the motif is carved into a wooden block, then applied by hand onto cotton. Quilted jackets, bedcovers, pyjamas, bathrobes, bags and small objects each carry the slight irregularities of handmade work.
Do you have small gift ideas?
